Monroe Hospital

Fred Price, President and CEO
Fred Price has over 20 years of healthcare experience and began his career at UNC Healthcare in Chapel Hill, North Carolina as an RN in the Jaycee Burn Center.  Since then, Fred has continued his leadership in the healthcare field at various locations including Grand Rapids, Michigan and Louisville, Kentucky.  He now happily resides in Bloomington with his wife, Lisa, and their three sons.

Dan Urban, VP of Finance/Revenue Cycle
Dan Urban has over 28 years of leadership experience in healthcare management.  He brings a blend of creative and operational strengths to Monroe Hospital, as well as experience in health care, finance, administration, and education.  Dan completed 20 years of military service that were highlighted with duty stations in Indonesia and Italy.  Dan and his wife, Sharon, have two sons and enjoy volunteer opportunities and giving back to the community.

Rick Shrader, VP of Operations
Rick Shrader has 20 years of healthcare experience as a Controller, Chief Financial Officer, Operations and Compliance Officer.  He founded Practical Healthcare Consulting in June 2009 and has worked with independent acute healthcare organizations.  Rick holds two degrees from the University of Lousiana at Monroe.  He has five children and he and his wife, Kandice, live in Clanton, Alabama. 

Pam Hoffman, Director of Human Resources and Guest Services
Pam Hoffman's experience in healthcare began in 2002 after she and her husband Ryan moved to Bloomington.  Pam transferred from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville to complete her B.A. degree at Indiana University.  She has been at Monroe Hospital since its opening in 2006 working in Administration, HR and Payroll. She was promoted to Director of Human Resources in 2008.

Donna Lohr, Manager, Risk & Medical Staff Office
Donna Lohr has been with Monroe Hospital since October 2007. Prior to moving to Bloomington, she operated her own business providing consulting services in Human Resources, payroll and employee training.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and is completing her MBA in Health Care Administration.  Donna is married and has three children.  She and her husband, Curt, enjoy golfing and bicycling along with many other activities the community has to offer.

Jen McCullough, Manager of the Physician Network
Jen McCullough has four years of practice management experience, and has been at Monroe Hospital for the past two and a half years.  Jen started at Monroe Hospital as an Executive Assistant and has worked her way up to the role of managing the physician network.  Jen was born and raised in Greene County, where she currently lives with her husband, Scott, and their two sons.  

Mary Jane Fleener, Director of Clinical Services
Mary Jane Fleener MSN, RN, CCRN, CCNS has over 40 years of experience in nursing.  Mary Jane is a Bloomington native and graduated from IVY Tech, holds a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Master of Science from IUPUI.  Critical Care has been her specialty for over 35 years working as a staff nurse, a critical care educator, and director of critical care.  In addition to working in the hospital environment, Mary Jane has been an educator for Indiana University School of Nursing and Indiana Wesleyan University.  Mary Jane enjoys spending time with her husband Ted and their two grown children.
